Delta EMEA Advances Reforestation Goals with Tree Planting in Waldshut-Tiengen

In a hands-on effort to contribute to a greener future, Delta Teningen colleagues gathered to plant 250 trees in the Waldshut-Tiengen region. This impactful initiative is part of Delta EMEA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and its ongoing partnership with PLANT-MY-TREE®, aimed at fostering reforestation and ecological restoration.

Now in its the second year, Delta EMEA’s collaboration with PLANT-MY-TREE® reflects a firm commitment to sustainability. Under this five-year agreement, Delta EMEA has pledged to donate 1,000 trees annually while encouraging employees to actively participate in tree-planting events. This year’s efforts focused on planting oak and European beech trees, species chosen for their ability to support local biodiversity and thrive in the region’s environment.

The event was more than just a tree-planting initiative; it exemplified the spirit of teamwork and environmental stewardship. Employees marked each tree and ensured protective measures were in place to safeguard the saplings’ growth, ensuring their long-term impact.

Delta EMEA’s CSR initiatives are dedicated to advancing ecological restoration across the region while fostering employee engagement. By actively involving its workforce in local reforestation projects and other sustainability efforts, Delta EMEA continues to lead by example in promoting environmental responsibility and regional impact.
