Delta Electronics proudly joined the global effort for World Cleanup Day by organizing a cleanup initiative at Philips de Jong Park in Eindhoven. This beloved green space, frequented by hundreds of visitors daily, received a much-needed refresh as part of Delta’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and community well-being.
The Delta Electronics team in Helmond didn’t just stop at collecting litter. They elevated the experience by introducing a unique CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) challenge, making the cleanup both engaging and educational. Employees split into groups for a friendly competition, answering sustainability and local history trivia questions along the way. To add a creative twist, participants also played Trash Bingo, hunting for specific types of litter to complete their bingo cards.
In just two hours, the enthusiastic teams collected seven large bags of trash, significantly contributing to the cleanliness and appeal of Philips de Jong Park. The event concluded with a celebratory recognition of the winning teams from both the CSR challenge and the Trash Bingo competition.
This initiative not only enhanced the park’s natural beauty but also served as a reminder of the collective power of community-driven actions. As Delta Electronics continues its mission to advance sustainable development, events like this underscore the importance of combining corporate goals with meaningful community engagement.
Delta Electronics EMEA maintains its unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility, persisting in spearheading initiatives aimed at creating a positive and enduring impact in the communities we serve.
